Travelling as an integral part of muah life (part II)

DAY 2 (18th September 2008)

Reached the Coolangatta airport at approximately 7.45 am aussie time..
the airport din look very interesting so no pictures...
it looks pretty much like our very own LCCT..
so went thru the immigration..
and oh my...
it was so scary because they were strict...
and when i mean strict.. i mean REAL strict...
but me and mama were the lucky ones because they did not "ransack" our luggage like they did to the others..
so while waiting for the others.. took some random pics with the buses around..

time showing 8.15 am (from now onwards time shown will be aussie time aite)
still early to get to our hotel..
so Stuart (our tour guide, he's Malaysian btw) took us to Point Danger..
sounds interesting , doesn't it ?
but hey... i have no comments.. let the pictures do the talking for me...


next stop, Honey World...
what would probably come across ur mind when they say Honey World?
honey ?? BEES ??? of course rite ?
but guess wat peeps ?
there ain't a single sight of bees !!!
there stood this shop selling all sorts of honey.. and that was it...
u have macadamia flavour, yellow bark, etc etc...
so sad...
wanna take pictures of the shops but mama said some shops dun allow photo taking..
so refrain mahSelf from taking pictures..
took a pic with our bus driver instead... BIG NORM


then time to go to our hotel... but before that it was yum cha session at this restaurant just opposite our hotel.. the name's Golden Fortune...
gave us dim sum wor....
haloo we din fly all the way here just to taste Malaysian food la...
pathetic...
din care much just makan a lil...
then me and mama went back to our hotel by ourselves..
the name of this hotel is Courtyard Marriott... mama tot it's a chain of the Marriott hotels..
so i was like... woah.. 5 star hotel... and wa-la... this is what u get...
disappointing yet again..

maybe i was expecting too much...

but this hotel is just too simple...

time showing 1.15 pm...
dinner was scheduled at 7 pm..
so ntg to do..
we slept our way thru the afternoon.. at around 4 pm..
got up washed up and got ready to take a stroll around Surfers Paradise..


dinner time....
Stuart said the restaurant is just across the street..
since it's walking distance... we walked there..
and that walk turned out to be a waste....
ANOTHER FREAKING MALAYSIAN RESTAURANT...
wassup with all the steak ? pork hamburgers that u dun get to eat in malaysia ?
DOUBLE PATHETIC-NESS..

sat with all these ppl that u dunno...
sucks... cos no topics in common to talk abt.. but guess what... i saw someone familiar there..
they look so alike... it's hard to say it's not the same person (it's not btw)
cochraneans.. i wan u to play the "Guess Who He Is"


then walk around Surfers Paradise again and took some pictures of the nite scene..

went back to our hotel by around 9 sumthing pm..
still early to go to bed...
so switched on the tv..
there was MTV and Prime which features hollywood movies..
not bad... at least there's sumthing to kill time...
